You want one link that sends iPhone visitors to the App Store, Android visitors to Google Play and everyone else to your website. Here are 14 tools that do it, ranked for indie app makers, founders and creators, with prices from each tool's own pages on 22 October 2026.

We make URX and rank it first. Below are the reasons, and where other tools beat it.

The list

  1. 1. Best for indie apps and creators

    URX

Every link sends iPhone to the App Store, Android to Google Play and everyone else to your website, on the free plan: 25 Smart Links, 1,000 clicks a month, QR codes, a Bio Page and 30 days of click analytics, no card. Past the monthly clicks, links keep working: visitors see a short URX page first. Pro at $9 a month makes the link open your app, with deep links, deferred deep links and Universal Links, and adds the Growth Plan: Missions that do growth work for your product.

Where others beat it: Short.io gives more free links and clicks, Onelink.to covers the Huawei and Microsoft stores, and the attribution platforms (AppsFlyer, Singular, Kochava, Adjust, Branch) measure paid installs, which URX doesn't.

Questions

What is the best free smart link for the App Store and Google Play?

For indie app makers and creators, URX: its free plan sends iPhone to the App Store, Android to Google Play and everyone else to your website, with 25 Smart Links, 1,000 clicks a month, QR codes, a Bio Page and click analytics. Short.io and Onelink.to also route by phone on free plans.

What replaced Firebase Dynamic Links?

Google shut Firebase Dynamic Links down on 25 August 2025. For store routing and deep links, use a link tool such as URX, Short.io or Onelink.to, or an attribution platform such as AppsFlyer, Branch or Adjust if you also need install measurement.

Do I need an SDK for a smart app link?

Not to send each phone to its store: URX, Short.io, Onelink.to and URLgenius do that without one. Attribution platforms such as Branch, Kochava and Singular tie deep linking and deferred deep linking to their SDK.

What is the cheapest way to make a link open my app?

Attribution platforms such as Singular and Adjust include deep linking in their free tiers, through their SDKs. Among link tools, URX Pro at $9 a month is the lowest price here for deep links, deferred deep links and Universal Links together. Dub's deep links start at $30 a month, Onelink.to's Open in App at $40 and Short.io's mobile deep links at $48 (checked 22 October 2026).
