Terms of Service

These terms explain what you can expect from URX and what we expect from you. We've kept them as short and readable as we can.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and URX (“URX”, “we”) for your use of urx.si, URX Smart Links, QR codes, analytics, the API and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, requesting early access or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use URX for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

Our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy are part of these terms.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live.
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity in your account.
  • Tell us straight away at support@urx.si if you think your account has been compromised.

3. Early access

URX is opening gradually. Requesting early access or a slug puts you on a list; it doesn't guarantee a particular slug or a date. Features labelled “Soon” or “Preview” may change or arrive later than planned, and early-access features may have rough edges.

4. Slugs and domains

  • Slugs on urx.si are allocated first come, first served. Using a slug doesn't give you ownership of it or any trademark rights.
  • Some slugs are reserved and can't be claimed.
  • We may reassign or remove a slug that infringes someone's rights, impersonates someone, misleads people or breaks the Acceptable Use Policy. We'll tell you first unless there's a good reason not to, such as active abuse.
  • For custom domains, you must own or control the domain and keep the DNS records in place.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use URX to harm people or break the law. The Acceptable Use Policy lists what isn't allowed, including phishing, malware, scams and deceptive redirects.

6. Your content

Your links, destinations, rules and settings are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service. You're responsible for your destinations and for having the right to link to them, and for telling your own users about analytics where the law requires it.

7. Plans and payment

  • The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on our pricing page.
  • Prices are early-access prices. If they change, we'll tell existing customers at least 30 days before the change affects them.
  • If you go over a plan's click allowance, links keep redirecting; we may pause new analytics until the allowance resets.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep paid features until the end of the period. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
  • Prices exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.

8. The service

We work hard to keep URX fast and available, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free unless we agree a service level with you in writing. We may improve, change or retire features; if we remove something important from a paid plan, we'll give reasonable notice.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using URX and close your account at any time. We may suspend or remove links, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put people or the Service at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll explain why and give you a chance to fix the problem. After an account closes, links stop resolving and data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, URX isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify customers by email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using URX after changes take effect, the new terms apply.
