Website analytics questions.
Is URX website analytics free?
Yes. Free counts 10,000 events a month on up to 2 websites, with every report: sources, pages, countries, devices, Goals, the live map, visitor profiles, Insights, page flow, 404s, downloads and page speed. Pro ($9 a month) adds revenue, revenue per visitor, funnels, 200,000 events and a year of history.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Not by default. Without cookies, URX recognises a visitor for one day from an anonymous daily hash on its own servers; nothing is stored on their device. You can turn on a first-party cookie per website to follow returning visitors across days.
How does revenue attribution work?
Connect Stripe (or another payment provider) and URX records each payment in the visit that led to it, so you see revenue by source, page, country, Smart Link and funnel step. With Stripe Checkout there is no code: keep the session id in your success URL and URX checks with Stripe that it was paid. Revenue never comes from what a browser claims.
Can I switch from Plausible or DataFast?
Yes. Point your Plausible snippet at URX with one data-api attribute and its events arrive straight away, or swap it for the URX script. You can also import your Plausible or DataFast history under Integrations.
What is the Buying Score?
A score from 0 to 100 for how close each visitor looks to paying, worked out from your own site's history: pricing pages reached, Goals completed, return visits and how well their source and country convert. Every score shows its reasons.
Does it work with my Smart Links?
Yes. When a URX Smart Link lands on your verified website, the visit records which link brought it, so you can follow a person from the link they clicked to the pages they read and the purchase they made.
