Acceptable Use Policy

Not allowed

You may not use URX links, QR codes, domains or the API to:

• Phish for credentials or payment details, or impersonate another person, brand or organisation.
• Distribute malware, unwanted software or exploits, or link to sites that do.
• Run scams, fraud, fake giveaways or deceptive financial schemes.
• Share child sexual abuse material or content that sexualises minors — we report this to the authorities.
• Promote violence, terrorism, or harassment of individuals or groups.
• Distribute illegal goods or services, or content that infringes copyright or other rights.
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages containing URX links.
• Hide the destination of a link to get around filters, bans or the policies of other platforms.
• Attack, overload or probe URX, or try to access other customers' data.

Honest redirects

Routing rules exist to send people to the right version of your destination — the right store, country or campaign page. Don't use them to show reviewers or platforms one destination while sending real visitors somewhere materially different (“cloaking”).

Slugs and trademarks

• Don't claim a slug that uses someone else's trademark or name in a way that suggests you are them or endorsed by them.
• Don't claim slugs in bulk to resell or hold them.
• If you own a trademark and a urx.si slug is misusing it, email legal@urx.si with the slug, your trademark details and why it's infringing. We review every claim and may reassign or remove the slug.

Reporting abuse

Found a URX link that breaks this policy? Email abuse@urx.si with the full link and what's wrong, or use our contact form. We prioritise phishing and malware reports.

What we do

Depending on how serious it is, we may disable a link, show visitors a warning instead of redirecting, remove a slug, suspend a domain, or close an account — without notice where people are at risk. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message and we'll take another look.
