Firebase Dynamic Links is gone. Your links don’t have to be.
Google shut down Firebase Dynamic Links on 25 August 2025. URX does the same job: one link that sends iPhones to the App Store, Android phones to Google Play and everyone else to your website, opens the app when it’s installed, and remembers the screen after an install.

Move in four steps
Most apps are done in an afternoon.
1. Add your app
Create a project with your App Store and Google Play links. Add the bundle ID, Team ID, package name and SHA-256 fingerprint to open the app directly.
2. Import your links
Put your long Dynamic Links in a CSV file (a
urlcolumn, and aslugcolumn if you want to choose the addresses). Links → Import converts each one and shows you the result first.3. Keep deep links after install
Turn on deferred deep links for the links that need them (Pro), and call URX once from your app on first launch. No SDK to add.
4. Swap the links
Replace page.link addresses in your app, site, emails, QR codes and ads. On Growth, use your own domain (links.yourapp.com) so the next move is never needed.

Where each part of a Dynamic Link lives in URX. The import fills in the destinations from link, apn, afl, isi, ifl and ofl; the rest you set once in the project or the link.

Migration questions
Can I keep my page.link addresses?
No. yourapp.page.link belongs to Google, and since the shutdown those links no longer redirect anywhere, so no service can take them over. Create URX links (on urx.si, or on your own domain on Growth), then update them in your app, website, emails and ads.
How do I import my links?
Collect your long Dynamic Links (the ones with ?link=… and apn, ibi or isi) into a CSV file with a url column, and a slug column for the address you want. In the dashboard, Links → Import reads the file, converts every long link into iPhone, Android and web destinations, and shows you the result before anything is created. Short links (yourapp.page.link/abc) can't be read any more, because Firebase no longer resolves them.
Does the app still open the right screen after it's installed?
Yes, with deferred deep links on Pro: the link remembers the screen, and your app asks URX for it on first launch with one HTTPS call (no SDK). Android uses the Play install referrer, which is exact; iPhone matches the install to the click within an hour.
What about links that open the app when it's already installed?
Add your app to a project with its iOS bundle ID and Apple Team ID, and its Android package name and SHA-256 fingerprint. URX then serves apple-app-site-association and assetlinks.json on your links' domain, so iPhones and Android phones open the app directly (Universal Links and App Links, on Growth with your own domain).
Is there analytics?
Yes: every click by country, city, device, operating system, source, referrer and campaign, app opens and conversions from your app, and revenue from Stripe. Free keeps 30 days; paid plans keep one to two years.
