What we found checking 673 places to submit a startup.

Lists of "500 places to launch" are everywhere. URX opened every one on its own list in a real browser, looked for the submit form and wrote down what it asks for and what gets in the way. Checked 19 Oct 2026.

Only 47 of 432 have a simple form

A simple form is on one page and needs no account, no captcha and no payment. The other 385 ask for at least one of those, which is where most of the time goes when you submit by hand. URX submits to all of them for you, within 7 days.

How we checked

  1. 1. A browser opened each site and followed its submit link, or tried the usual paths like /submit and /add.
  2. 2. It looked for a real listing form: a website box and a name or description box, not a search or newsletter box.
  3. 3. It wrote down every field, and any captcha, login wall, payment step or bot check on the way.
  4. 4. Sites that no longer load or take products were marked gone. Communities, subreddits and media were set apart: you post or pitch there, there is no form.
  5. 5. URX then submitted itself to directories on the list, to prove each step works end to end.
